Tickets
Ticket types: prices (If applicable: Tickets will be available for purchase online through MM/DD. After then they will only be available for purchase at the door the day of the contest). Example: Adult General Admission $39, Under Age 12 General Admission $10, Assistant (general admission plus backstage access): $55 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare back stage). One assistant max per competitor is permitted.
Entry Fees & Deadlines
Entry fee(s) and any cutoff dates, such as when a late fee kicks in or last day to be able to enter is. Example: If entry is received by June 24th: Entry $69. Entry fee for each additional class $49. After June 24th an additional late entry fee of $50 applies. July 9th is the last day entries will be accepted.
Categories
Categories being offered are Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Women’s Physique, Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, and Men’s Classic Physique. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.
Division Offerings
Bikini: Novice, Age 35+, Open Women’s Wellness: Novice, Age 35+, Open, Figure: Novice, Age 35+, Open Men’s Physique: Novice, Age 40+, Open Men’s Classic Physique: Novice, Age 40+, Open Men’s Bodybuilding: Novice, Age 60+, Age 50+, Age 40+, Open Women’s Physique: Open (add or remove any divisions that won’t be offered, add any being offered but aren’t listed above) DEBUT ELIGIBILITY: First competition ever. Competitors cannot have ever competed in any category with any organization. NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it). (Remove mention of Debut if not offering that division)
Classes
When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.
Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)
A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class. or Amateurs: The top 5 in each class will receive sculptured awards. All amateur competitors will receive custom OCB medals. Pros: Guaranteed cash prizes for all pro classes will be $1,500 for 1st place, $1,000 for 2nd place, and $500 for 3rd place. The top 5 in each pro class will receive trophies. All pro participants will receive custom OCB Pro medals.
Eligibility
All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com. This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com
Banned Substances Screening Methods
All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners and top 3 in each pro class are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis. (Remove reference to pro classes when not applicable)
Check-Ins/Drug Test Screenings
Add specific details for check-ins and polygraph screenings. Example: By appointment MM/DD from start time to end time at the host hotel, hotel name & address. To schedule an appointment, (details for how to schedule). The polygraph fee is $50 and is payable in cash only at the time of testing. Exact change would be appreciated. Please schedule your polygraph appointment so it's before your spray tanning appointment if doing both the same day.
Music
Add specifics about music that will be used for individual presentations (routines/stage walks) Example: All competitors for every category are to send their routine/stage walk music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to (email address). Music must not to contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitors by TIME on DAY, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would just be faded out after the stage walk is finished. For Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique and Women's Physique, when sending music state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out.
Host Hotel
Add host hotel name and address, and details about a group code and rate if arranged, and details for how to make room reservations. Example: Courtyard Albuquerque Airport, 1920 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. For reservations, call Marriott reservations at (800) 321-2211 and state you’re with the “OCB Competition” group staying at this hotel for a nightly rate of $79. It’s recommended to make reservations by MM/DD. After MM/DD the hotel will release any unreserved rooms for general sale and, in the hotel’s discretion, will accept reservations at the group rate on a space and rate available basis.
Backstage Policy
Add backstage policies. Example: One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and backstage access.
Competitor Prep Area
Add details about the competitor prep area Example: Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
Photography Coverage
Add details about photo services that will be available. Example: Stage photo coverage services will be available from (COMPANY or INDIVIDUAL). Order forms with details about coverage will be available at show check-ins.
Video Recording Policy
Add any necessary details on video recording policies. Example: Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring recording devices.
Spray Tanning Services
